I have been involved in sports my entire life. One of my favorite aspects of sports is the camaraderie and competitiveness between team mates during practice and weight room sessions. At an early age I realized how important the strength and conditioning process was in order to perform on the field/court/track/etc.  That love of strength and conditioning lead me to pursue a degree in Exercise Science at Iowa State University. Over the course of my education I was able to work with and train athletes of all ages and skill levels. This is when I developed the love for seeing people improve not only in strength but also their confidence and self esteem through the training process.

While at ISU, I joined the Weightlifting Club and loved the fact that everyone was training together but each person followed their own programs and the competitiveness was missing. After a little convincing from my mom, I did my first CrossFit workout the summer after my freshman year and was instantly hooked. The combination of challenging workouts, friendly competition, and community was exactly what I was looking for. Fast forward to November 2016, I moved to Omaha following a career in medical device sales. I dropped into Climate a few weeks after moving in and instantly felt at home. I could not be more excited to be a part of such a great community and use my education and experience to help others meet their goals!
